Hi, my name is Karl. I'm in 8th grade at Lonfellow. My favorite sport to play is hockey and I like to read.
Karl.... What questions come to your mind when you look at the cover? Who are these kids? What might the Homework Machine do? Why is it a police file? Could they be in trouble?
What do you think the story is going to be about? What do you think might happen just by looking at the cover? I think the kids might make a machine to do their homework. They could get into trouble.
What could be so serious that they are in trouble with the police for it? The intro makes it seem like it has something to do with the Grand Canyon. What do you think?
Karl, Jacob E. decided to give up his blog. I gave the blog to Gabe and Jacob T. They weren't sure about doing one by themselves, but would do one together. Thanks for being patient with this. They have been reading the book, but are on chapters 3 and 5. They should be letting you know soon.
We have not had the 8th grade students for a couple of days in Spanish, so Karl has not had the chance to write to you yet. We'll make sure to get him on here as soon as possible. What chapters have you both read so far? How do you like the book?

Anyway, I do like the book. It's pretty good. And I would like to have a homework machine. What I need to know is what chapters your on and which chapters your reading per day.
