Alissa.... What questions come to your mind when you look at the cover? Who is the girl on the cover chasing? Why is she chasing her? How is Ramona a pest? Why does she feel the need to be noticed?
What do you think the story is going to be about? What do you think might happen, just by looking at the cover? I think that the main character, Ramona, is a young girl that can be a trouble maker at times. I think that she is going to do all sorts of outrageous things to get attention. I think that this will be an interesting book.
Hi Alissa, My name is Hayley, I am in fourth grade, and I go to North Woods elementary school. I can not wait to start Ramona the Pest. I think the girl on the cover might be her best friend and maybe she is chasing her because they are playing a game. I think the cover will be about if you keep bothering someone you might regret it. I agree with you on she is going to do wacky stuff to get the attention she is looking for.

After reading the first chapter, how was your first day of kindergarten different or the same as Ramona's?
For me, I was also very excited and couldn't wait to start school. We played all sorts of exciting games and learned the rules, just like her. My day was different because I was also very scared, and by the end of the day I couldn't wait to go home.
Hi alissa, My first day of kindergartin was not scary because I got used to school when I was in preschool. But in was a new grade but it is one of the easyest grades. I mean all you have to do is learn your abc's and take napes and also play with blocks. I loved kindergarten!!!!!!!!! Good bye

Sorry that I got ahead of you, I'll try to go a little bit slower with the questions. Once you finish chapter four answer my questions on it. And you're right, Ramona was chasing Davy, not Howie. Thank you for correcting me.
No I do not think that Miss Binney thinks that Ramona is a pest. Teachers have to be able to understand kids and because Miss Binney does she would probably consider Ramona's behavior cute, not annoying.
For chapter five- Do you think it's fair that Ramona has to wear Howie's old boots? What did you think when she got her shiny new boots? I thought that Ramona should have gotten her own boots, not Howie's old ones. It's not fair that Howie gets new ones when she has his old ones. I think that it was very nice of the person at the store to convince Ramona's mother to get her new ones.
What do you think of Ramona choosing Henry to be her future husband? I think that it was really cute that Ramona chose Henry. He was being a bit mean, but it was still nice of him to go back and get her boots.

Today I am on page 120, just kiding But I wish I was on that page but sadly I am on page 100. Hi Alissa, If you were Ramona's age and you got stuck in the mudd would you be sad that you got your boots muddy or would you be scared that you could not get out. If I were Ramona and I was not stuck and I were her age I would get crazy and fall in the mudd on because I wanted to get all muddy Hayley
Hi Alissa, Do you feel bad for Ramona that she got stuck in the mudd in chapter 5 and isn't it funny that Ramona thought of that idea of a tow truck pulling her out of there? If I were Ramona I would hate having everybody looking at me I would be really shy.

I think that Ramona should have gotten it, because it was her bunny and Howie didn't even want the bunny.

I think that she will eventually catch him, he can't keep on running forever!
Do you think that it was smart for Ramona to hide from the substitute?
I think that she should have went into the classroom, because she could have gotten into trouble.
