How have you changed your ways of doing things to help save the resources of our Earth?

The information and data we have been exploring is mind boggling about the resources we use. I really believe if more people were aware of these facts they would do more to reduce, reuse, and recylce! My goal is to purchase some reusable shopping bags, and try to get into the habit of using the bags whenever I go shopping. This would help cut down on the amount of plastic bags we accumulate at our house.

The only paper products we use in our house are kleenex and toilet paper. No paper towels, napkins, paper plates, etc. We always pack school lunch in reusable containers and do not use plastic bags. We try to keep marketing bags in the car to shop with. I have knit several and sent them as part of swap packages for Earth Day. It was a lot of fun! Keep up the great work in 4th grade!!

I am going green by using reusable lunch bags. We are trying to reuse things in different ways. When we go shoping we try to by everything in one trip. So we are saving gas. Plus the GAS prices has gone way up.

My sister and I are using Sandwitch containers in our lunches that we can reuse every time.

My husband and I are thinking about buying a hybrid car. Do any of your families own one and how do they like it?
